Your Responsibilities
Your primary focus will involve investigating the activity and mechanistic insights of molecular Co-based electro- and photocatalysts related to the CO2 reduction reaction.
- You will synthesize and characterize various cobalt-containing molecules and materials using advanced spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, UV-vis, and IR.
- The activity of these materials will be tested electrochemically, with mechanistic insights gained in situ through lab, synchrotron, and XFEL-based techniques.
- Collaboration with colleagues in the electrochemistry laboratory, beamline scientists, and international partners will be an integral part of your role.
Your Profile
- A master's degree in physical chemistry, chemical physics, chemistry, materials science, or a closely related field is essential, along with an interest or experience in electrochemistry and spectroscopy techniques.
- You should possess a strong inclination toward experimental work and demonstrate initiative in proposing new solutions, while also being able to work independently within a collaborative and interdisciplinary research setting.
- Effective communication and writing skills in English are required.
