PhD Student in Optical and Electrical Measurements of Quantum Devices

Your Responsibilities

• Conceptualisation and design of state-of-the-art quantum nanostructures and devices, based on Rydberg states in silicon, within a collaborative team of scientists and students.
• Characterisation of these nanostructures and devices using optical and electrical transport methods at cryogenic temperatures.
• Publication and presentation of high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.

Your Qualifications

• A master's degree in physical science or engineering, with a focus on quantum mechanics and/or condensed matter physics.
• A keen interest in experimental research in quantum technologies and nanoscience.
• A highly motivated team player with strong communication skills.
• Experience in relevant fields, such as quantum science and engineering, transport measurements, and optics, is advantageous.
