Research Focus
The positions will explore two critical areas vital for shaping effective biodiversity strategies:
- Political Drivers of Biodiversity Policy: Research will focus on the governance structures that define the stability and geopolitical considerations affecting biodiversity commitments. Candidates will analyze global data while also contributing insights to ongoing international policy dialogues.
- Strategic Spatial Planning: This research will address how conservation efforts can be harmonized with societal needs in agriculture, forestry, and climate change mitigation. The candidates will develop innovative computational methods for identifying viable policy strategies amidst uncertainties.
Key Responsibilities
