Your Mission

System Design & Optimization

Lead the design of new collector systems, ensuring maximum sorbent–process performance.

Innovation & Validation

Drive innovation from ideation through to field acceptance, proving commercial readiness through rigorous testing.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary development team, fostering creativity and practical problem-solving.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with sorbent and process development teams to create collectors that maximize efficiency.

Hands-On Prototyping

Build, test, and refine prototypes actively in the workshop.

Technical Ownership

Own technical decisions on collector architecture, materials, and performance optimization, collaborating with the industrialization team.

Your Story

• Technical Expertise & Experience: Proven record (10+ years) developing innovative systems in high-performance environments.
• Product Development Lifecycle: Experience transitioning electro-mechanical products from concept to performance demonstration.
• System Design Mastery: Expertise in designing air flow, vacuum systems, and thermal management systems.
• Hands-On Execution: Pragmatic and action-oriented, capable of quickly building and testing prototypes.
• Leadership & Team Building: Strong leader with a history of guiding high-impact teams to success.
• Documentation & Communication: Skillful in creating clear and effective documentation for team alignment.
• Innovation & Delivery Mindset: Bold in ideas while disciplined in delivering effective, real-world solutions.

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, with an expectation of onsite work three days a week. Flexibility in working hours is available, allowing for either full-time or part-time arrangements based on your preferences.
