Position Overview

The Director of Brand at On plays a critical role in shaping the long-range vision for marketing in our Performance division. Collaborating with various teams, including product vertical leads and commercial leads, you will oversee the execution of this vision with the internal marketing team, aiming to enhance credibility, connection, and community engagement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Vision Development: Define a comprehensive three-year marketing plan that aligns product, marketing, and commercial objectives, ensuring organizational alignment from senior leadership down through various regions.
  • Marketing Excellence: Act as the authoritative voice of the brand, identifying potential successes and areas for improvement in marketing initiatives while collaborating with creative and brand strategy teams.
  • Insight-Driven Evolution: Utilize measurement and insights to identify growth opportunities, improve creative performance, and inform marketing strategies that maximize value across commercial and product teams.

Your Team Dynamics

Joining the brand strategy team, you will lead a group focused on various aspects of marketing. Your role involves both leadership and collaboration, working across functions to drive brand strategy effectively.

Your Profile

  • 12+ years of experience in brand marketing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role leading teams, particularly in global consumer brands within sportswear or fashion.
  • Proven background in developing long-term visions in collaboration with product teams.
  • Higher education degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in executing marketing programs and campaigns that have successfully scaled on a global level.
  • Strong understanding of the premium lifestyle and sportswear market, along with its opportunities for growth.
  • A curious and innovative mindset, passionate about staying updated on emerging media activations and platforms.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate the category vision effectively to diverse audiences.
