The Opportunity

The EY Business Consulting team provides an extensive range of functional and cross-country services, focusing on delivering trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services sector. As the industry undergoes significant transformations and faces new challenges, joining us offers the chance to be at the forefront of these changes, assisting clients in navigating evolving market demands across Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Pursuing innovative business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas and design solutions that yield measurable improvements in performance.
• Employing storytelling skills to present analytical recommendations to clients in a clear and engaging manner.
• Utilizing and further developing global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, and accelerators for various transformation objectives.
• Enhancing personal skills through hands-on client experience and internal training opportunities.
• Facilitating topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting business development initiatives to create valuable solutions for clients.

• Exceptional academic background from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
• Strong motivation to engage with a dynamic consulting environment and the financial services sector.
• Experience working on team-based projects through academic or internship experiences.
• A curious mindset, capable of structuring problems systematically and effectively.
• Strong presentation abilities coupled with a client-oriented approach.
• A collaborative team player enthusiastic about contributing solutions within diverse teams across various functions.
• Proficiency in English and German is essential; knowledge of Swiss German and additional languages is advantageous.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Some initial work experience in consulting or financial services, including internships or entry-level positions.
• Interest or experience in target operating model design and process improvements.
• Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
