The Opportunity

As part of our Business Consulting team, you will engage in a broad spectrum of services aimed at delivering trusted advice to our clients in the Financial Services sector, specifically in Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance. This is a pivotal time for the Financial Services industry, and you will have the opportunity to assist clients in navigating dynamic market changes and evolving customer needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Pursuing business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements in business performance.
• Utilizing storytelling skills to present recommendations clearly and analytically to clients.
• Leveraging and developing global EY methodologies, tools, and accelerators for various transformation goals.
• Enhancing professional skills through client experiences and internal training opportunities.
• Facilitating internal and external topic discussions and thought leadership sessions.
• Supporting business development initiatives to deliver valuable solutions for clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong academic record from a respected university or university of applied sciences.
• A desire to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment focused on financial services.
• Experience in team-based projects, either academically or through internships.
• A curious mindset capable of structuring problems systematically.
• Excellent presentation skills and a client-oriented attitude.
• A strong team player, eager to support solutions with diverse teams across functions and geographies.
• Fluency in English and German is essential; knowledge of Swiss German and other languages is an asset.

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience in consulting or Financial Services, such as internships or entry-level roles.
• Interest or experience in target operating model design and process improvements.
• Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
