Role Overview
This position requires a professional to provide expert legal counsel within the realm of intellectual property and commercial agreements. Engaging in high-stakes negotiations and drafting critical documents, you will play a key role in fostering successful partnerships and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, with a focus on trademark protection and licensing.
- Assist in negotiations and drafting of commercial and licensing agreements with prestigious industry partners.
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for potential new partners.
- Draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other essential contracts.
- Support corporate law matters, including the preparation of board meetings and drafting circular resolutions.
- Contribute to corporate governance and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
- Advise on motorsports regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with FIA regulations.
- Provide legal guidance for event management and race operations, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Stay abreast of changes in sports law and assess their implications on operations.
- Offer legal consultancy to various stakeholders across the organization.
- Maintain and update existing contract templates to reflect current legal standards.
- Advise on data protection and privacy regulations to safeguard sensitive information.
- Assist in litigation and dispute resolution processes as necessary.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of contracts, including commercial, IT, sponsorship, and licensing agreements.
Qualifications
- A legal degree (lic. iur./Master) from a recognized Swiss, German, or English university, with admission to the bar in the respective jurisdiction.
- 2-5 years of pertinent legal experience, ideally in contract and intellectual property law, or automotive industry exposure, preferably within a corporate or commercial law context.
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong grasp of contract law and intellectual property rights.
- Comprehensive understanding of sports rights commercialization and events management.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to independently prepare complex contracts.
