Our Actuarial team offers comprehensive support in areas such as life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We work collaboratively with other teams within Audit & Assurance as well as across various services, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

Your Role and Impact

  • Serve as the main point of contact for pension topics within Deloitte Switzerland.
  • Lead various client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from proposals, contracting, delivery, to invoicing.
  • Engage in business development by identifying ideas and opportunities for growth and generating new business.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and promotions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics or a similar quantitative field.
  • Qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in an actuarial role within the Insurance industry or Consulting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Fluent communication skills in both German and English, tailored for various stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in business development.
