Role Overview

Join a dedicated team that supports clients in navigating global challenges. As part of the Actuarial team, you'll engage in a variety of projects across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. Collaborative efforts with Audit & Assurance and various service lines such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation will be common.

Your Impact

• Serve as the primary contact for pension-related topics within Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead client projects including M&A transactions, pension fund audits, and valuations.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle: from proposals and contracting through to delivery and invoicing.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
• Manage various aspects of the employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to performance evaluations.

Ideal Candidate

• University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent credentials.
• Experience in an actuarial role, preferably within the Insurance industry or Consulting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a commitment to learning and making a meaningful impact.
• Proficient in German and English, capable of interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in business development.
