About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on individual to join our Brand & Industries Marketing Squad. This position will involve overseeing marketing for a defined set of industry verticals, leading the full development of how we position and bring our solutions to market within specific industries. Your role will include developing customer value propositions and activating them through integrated global campaigns to enhance awareness, engagement, and demand across targeted sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of customer value propositions, audience strategy, and campaign development, along with a strong ability to collaborate across functions. Excellent communication skills and the capability to influence and drive project momentum will be key to aligning stakeholders and achieving business objectives. You will manage both internal and external resources, taking comprehensive ownership of high-impact marketing initiatives designed to elevate brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Industry Marketing: Develop tailored marketing strategies for assigned industries, ensuring accountability for outcomes and performance.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to grasp customer needs, buying behaviors, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Product Insights: Bridge communication between product marketing and the Brand & Industries squad, incorporating insights into campaign development and ensuring messaging aligns with solution capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain active engagement with customers and internal stakeholders to continuously refine industry knowledge and marketing direction.

Customer Value Proposition Development

  • Own Industry Positioning: Transform market insights into strategic directions for value propositions and campaigns.
  • Create Compelling Messaging: Develop insightful customer messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition to target personas.
  • Simplify Technical Narratives: Translate complex capabilities into clear, benefit-driven messages addressing customer pain points.
  • Consistency Across Channels: Ensure uniformity of value propositions across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide tools and training to support the differentiated value of our solutions.

Global Campaign Activation and Content Management

  • Campaign Strategy Ownership: Manage campaigns from initial concept through performance optimization.
  • Lead Go-to-Market Plans: Oversee product launches, promotional campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage resources to deliver impactful marketing across various channels, including digital content, advertising, tradeshows, and internal communications.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze campaign performance, identifying issues and optimizing strategies accordingly.
  • Seamless Lead Handoffs: Collaborate with Sales and CRM teams to ensure effective pipeline monitoring and campaign refinement.
  • Global Collaboration: Operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization, aligning various partners behind cohesive campaign strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in industrial, technology, or building solutions sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and drive marketing strategy and execution in a global or matrixed setting.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in solution and product marketing.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in vertical marketing or industry-specific campaign development.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, energy, automation, or building technologies.
