Your Role

We invite you to shape the future with us. In this pivotal position, you will become an integral member of our dynamic Supply Chain team, focusing beyond operational purchasing. Your contributions will actively influence processes, strategy, and material flow, ensuring that our innovative products are delivered on time, with high quality, and under optimal conditions.

Your Responsibilities

• Request quotations for prototypes, flight and serial parts/materials, as well as production-required jigs and tools.
• Source potential suppliers based on technical, economic, and quality requirements.
• Support in cost calculations for customer offers, providing procurement parts and materials cost overviews.
• Clarify technical feasibility with suppliers and propose alternative solutions during the concept phase.
• Negotiate prices and conditions, establishing framework agreements and contracts.
• Continuously optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and drive savings initiatives.
• Represent purchasing interests in product development processes.
• Ensure that all externally sourced parts, materials and jigs align with project milestones.
• Identify potential deviations from plan and define counteractions.
• Maintain ERP procurement article data.
• Ensure compliant sourcing in line with company and legal rules.
• Issue and follow-up on orders, coordinate needs with materials management and production planning.
• Participate in supplier qualification and development efforts.
• Manage supplier quality claims effectively.

Your Qualifications

• Completed technical and/or commercial education with 3+ years of in-depth technical and operational sourcing experience.
• Experience in global sourcing and a good technical understanding.
• High awareness of costs and quality alongside strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset.
• Reliability and adherence to deadlines.
• Experience working within project environments and multifunctional teams.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and related procurement administrative tasks.
• Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
• Fluent in English and German, with additional qualifications in Lean and Six Sigma being a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills and willingness to travel.
