Project Engineer Pipework (m/f/d)

Your Role

In this pivotal position, you will provide technical expertise in the design, specification, and analysis of pipework systems for various piping projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and reviewing technical proposals, quotes, and engineering designs for mechanical pipework systems.
• Translating customer requirements into efficient and cost-effective piping solutions to support sales efforts.
• Collaborating with the global engineering team to optimize project delivery and support through Proposal Engineering, Detail Engineering, and Pipe Stress Analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, BSI, ISO, DVS) and project specifications.
• Supporting pre-sales and post-sales engineering activities as necessary.
• Partnering with the global prefabrication network to enhance value throughout the supply chain.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or related field).
• At least 4 years of concrete experience as a Project Engineer or Project Leader in an industrial environment.
• Substantial experience in pipework design, stress analysis, or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a global team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
• Strong communication skills to present and defend recommendations and designs to various stakeholders, including internal teams and clients.
