Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management, you will be a vital member of the Business Development Department. As a strategic owner for one or more product lines, you will drive product innovation and ensure market success. Your role will bridge engineering, sales, and customer relationships, helping maintain ETEL's leadership in the high-precision motion control industry.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Defining and executing product strategy aligned with ETEL's business objectives.
  • Leading cross-functional teams through all stages of the product lifecycle: ideation, development, launch, continuous improvement, and potential obsolescence.
  • Conducting market analysis and gathering customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining product roadmaps and technical requirement documents.
  • Collaborating closely with R&D and vertical sales to ensure product feasibility and market fit.
  • Preparing motivated budget requests and ensuring resources allocation for announced ROIs.
  • Driving product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Planning and coordinating key product and market activities, including lifecycle transitions and marketing campaigns.
  • Preparing for product launches by developing internal training and promotional materials.
  • Serving as the primary contact for international affiliates on all product-related topics.
  • Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market and product needs across departments.
  • Protecting product market shares and profitability throughout lifecycle phases.
  • Utilizing validated business models to maximize product and business development success.
  • Elevating business performance through deep market, product, and process knowledge.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in engineering or a scientific field.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an industrial and technical B2B environment, including at least 5 years as a Product Manager or 10 years as a Technical Sales Engineer.
  • Experience in high-tech industries such as semiconductors, photonics, robotics, automation, machine tools, or medical fields.
  • Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management, project and risk management, and business model development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Professional fluency in spoken English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • A self-motivated, curious, pro-active, and collaborative mindset.
