Join Our Apparel Product Strategy Team

We are looking for an accomplished professional to play a key role in shaping the future of our brand, specifically within the Performance Run segment of our apparel line. This opportunity involves leading the most technical segment of On's performance apparel, and we are seeking a candidate with extensive experience and a collaborative spirit.

Your Mission

  • Apparel Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement the 3-5 year global product strategy for Performance Run Apparel, ensuring alignment with consumer and brand goals, market trends, and technical advancements.
  • Product Briefing & Execution: Translate strategic goals into detailed product briefs for Design and Development, maintaining a consumer-first approach to ensure feasibility, quality, and brand direction.
  • Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis, focusing on performance running innovations and overarching fashion trends, to create culturally relevant and commercially successful assortments.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Foster collaboration and mentorship within cross-functional teams, particularly with Design, Development, Merchandising, and Marketing, to realize a unified, consumer-centered product vision.
  • Strategic, Creative & Operational Balance: Manage both the strategic development of seasonal product releases and daily operational excellence in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), encouraging innovation and creativity.
  • Fabric & Product Expertise: Collaborate with the Material Specialist to ensure fabrication meets requirements and sustains the demands of commercialization.
  • Product Data Management: Oversee accurate management of product data across multiple collections within the PLM system, ensuring timely updates according to established creation calendars. Frequent travel, including internationally, may be required.

Your Story

  • Technical Expertise: Over 7 years of proven experience in global product teams, particularly in performance or technical sportswear.
  • Master of Product Creation: Deep understanding of fabric technology, performance attributes, and construction methods, with a preference for experience in high-technicality lines.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capability to positively influence stakeholders at all levels without formal authority.
  • Passion for Movement: A personal connection to and understanding of the running consumer and the culture of performance sport.
  • Systems & Tools Proficient: Advanced proficiency in product systems and PLM tools.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfort in navigating fast-paced, creative environments while managing complex, high-volume projects.
  • Educational Background: A B.S. in Economics, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
