Be part of an exciting initiative at the forefront of global sport, mobility, and corporate governance. In this pivotal role, you will be the visionary behind a more inclusive, equitable, and representative future for our Federation, its members, and its community.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy, Governance & Reporting:
- Develop and implement an inclusive strategy aligned with the FIA Manifesto and global best practices.
- Create D&I policies and standards to be applied across all FIA offices and member organizations.
- Track and define D&I KPIs for integration into performance metrics and annual reports.
- Manage the FIA Diversity & Inclusion Commission and produce the annual D&I Report.
- Provide insights to Senior Management on inclusion topics and monitor global regulatory changes.
- Programme Delivery & Implementation:
- Lead design and launch of global initiatives focused on gender equality, accessibility, and inclusive leadership.
- Oversee essential programs like Women in Motorsport and Disability Access initiatives.
- Ensure each office and Division has actionable D&I plans with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
- Manage the D&I budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Cultural Advocacy:
- Enhance internal awareness and training related to inclusion and unconscious bias.
- Collaborate with HR and Communications to integrate inclusion in recruitment and career development.
- Represent the FIA in international D&I forums and foster partnerships with NGOs and corporate sponsors.
- Assist FIA Member Clubs in crafting their own inclusion frameworks and initiatives.
Candidates' Profile
- University degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, International Relations, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in D&I, CSR, or sustainability roles, with 5 years in international or matrix environments.
- Demonstrable experience in executing diversity or social impact strategies with quantifiable outcomes.
- Familiarity with global sports, NGOs, or intergovernmental organizations is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, policy-development, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent project management skills, encompassing budget oversight and KPI tracking.
- A strategic vision coupled with a hands-on approach to achieving results.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in another language (e.g., French) is a significant plus.
This role is based at the FIA offices in Geneva.
