Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to shape the future of 3D product design within an innovative and dynamic environment. This role entails guiding a talented team of specialists in 3D modeling and visualization, focusing on the evolution of our design processes through advanced technology and creativity.

Your Mission

• Develop and expand a skilled team of 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization experts, fostering collaboration across various design disciplines to produce exceptional work from initial concepts to production-ready models.
• Play a pivotal role in our design studio, continually pushing the boundaries of visual and technical excellence in our product offerings.
• Inspire and mentor team members to enhance their skills, building the necessary capabilities to thrive in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
• Lead the transition from 2D to 3D workflows by integrating AI, computational design, and simulation tools, enhancing creativity, efficiency, and overall impact.
• Oversee the realistic digital representation of materials for virtual prototypes, ensuring visual and physical fidelity through effective scanning and processing techniques.
• Minimize the reliance on physical samples and shorten development timelines, allowing for greater focus on creative exploration.
• Transform 3D pilot initiatives into robust workflows that enhance productivity across the organization, continuously seeking optimization for long-term success.
• Serve as a crucial liaison among internal teams in Zurich and Asia, alongside cross-functional pods such as Development, Engineering, IT, and Operations, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the entire product creation process, including the development of Digital Twin assets for AR/VR applications and marketing materials.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape within our product organization, driving and implementing strategic initiatives alongside cross-functional partners.

Your Story

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, 3D Animation, Game Design, or a related field with a strong emphasis on 3D and digital design.
• 7-10 years of experience in high-level design environments, showcasing a robust portfolio of visual and performance product solutions.
• Demonstrated capability in leading teams and managing large-scale projects in agile settings.
• Profound expertise in 2D and 3D tools, encompassing everything from sketching and modeling to rendering and computational design.
• A passion for performance products, coupled with a strong connection to the world of sports and movement.
• Exemplary organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
