Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for performing a visual inspection of parts or modules for transportation damage. Your tasks will include:

  • Working on LEAP, GTF, parts, and modules.
  • Conducting visual inspections for transport damage of parts and modules and quantity checks.
  • Completing and verifying the SAP Onlog structure.
  • Checking the LLP sheet (life-limited parts) for correct parts installation.
  • Organizing the exchange and return of materials with the material coordinator team.
  • Communicating with Engineering and Material Master for SAP data adjustments.
  • Storing parts and modules in the designated place.
  • Signing off technical and administrative tasks according to relevant guidelines.
  • Ensuring on-time completion of tasks and the quality of completed work.
  • Utilizing concepts of Lean and Six Sigma to ensure continuous improvement.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
  • Willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility to work on weekends.
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
  • Open-minded and dedicated team player.
  • High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office and experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge of English language (minimum level B1); German skills are advantageous.
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice to perform Field Assistance Support at any location.
