We are seeking a dedicated individual to champion world-class planning capabilities throughout our global manufacturing network. This role plays a crucial part in standardizing, optimizing, and continuously enhancing production scheduling, material planning, and capacity planning processes. As a strategic connector between global supply chain strategy and local execution, you will ensure the consistent application of best-in-class processes, tools, technology, and data across all operational sites and supplier interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and deploy global standards, policies, and best-in-class processes related to production planning, MRP, RCCP, detailed scheduling, purchasing, and end-to-end planning KPIs.
  • Ensure harmonized adoption of global processes to promote consistency and scalability across manufacturing locations.
  • Identify planning bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and maturity gaps through comprehensive data analysis and cross-site reviews.
  • Lead the design and execution of improvement initiatives that enhance service, productivity, and inventory performance, utilizing digital tools, automation, and analytics.
  • Take ownership of global production planning and scheduling tools, ensuring master data accuracy, system governance, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that pertain to planning technologies.
  • Assess skill maturity across sites and create targeted training programs to elevate planner capabilities and achieve functional excellence.
  • Lead and expand a global Community of Practice, promoting knowledge sharing, coaching, and the development of cross-regional expertise.
  • Conduct planning audits, maturity assessments, and performance reviews to ensure adherence to global standards.
  • Monitor and report end-to-end planning performance, identify gaps, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, and IT to align production plans with demand signals, capacity, and inventory objectives.
  • Support integrated decision-making across functions to enhance planning agility and stability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a dynamic and proven leader with over 10 years of experience in production planning or supply chain planning, demonstrating a strong understanding of MRP, RCCP, and inventory optimization. Your qualifications may include:

  • Proven end-to-end planning ownership, preferably within a regional or global operating model.
  • Experience in implementing global standards and/or leading planning transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on expertise with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, PP-DS) and ERP platforms.
  • A strong analytical and data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills in a complex, global environment.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
