Your Responsibilities
- Short-Term Demand & Supply Planning: Analyze demand patterns and develop tactical supply plans to address customer needs, while providing input for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
- Production Planning: Generate master production schedules (MPS) that align with demand forecasts, ensuring a balanced workload for production teams and accurate commitment dates to customer service.
- Material Planning: Synchronize material availability with production schedules to guarantee a seamless flow of raw materials and components.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels to optimize inventory targets, analyze surplus and obsolete inventory, and implement scrapping activities as necessary.
- Inventory Parameters: Calculate and maintain inventory parameters in ERP systems, focusing on safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and to address any challenges collaboratively.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement enhancements to streamline operations and reduce supply chain costs.
- Risk Management: Recognize potential supply chain disruptions and establish contingency plans to mitigate risks.
Your Background
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in material/production planning, inventory control, or a related field in manufacturing.
- Software Proficiency: Competent in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems, such as SAP, GIB, EWM, and Microsoft Office Tools.
- Problem-Solving: Effective at resolving issues with a collaborative mindset.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control principles.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, particularly with data analysis tools like MS Excel and Power BI, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, coupled with effective negotiation abilities.
- Education: Preferred further education relevant to the field.
