Opportunity Overview

The Business Consulting team at EY specializes in offering a wide range of functional and cross-country services tailored for the Financial Services industry, particularly focusing on Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance sectors. In the Transformation Execution Practice, you will engage in complex transformation initiatives and collaborate on designing, planning, and delivering client solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursue exciting business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and achieve measurable improvements in business performance.
• Utilize storytelling skills to present recommendations to clients clearly and analytically.
• Leverage and enhance global EY methodologies, frameworks, and tools aimed at a variety of transformation goals.
• Develop your professional skills through on-the-job client experiences and internal training opportunities.
• Facilitate topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions for both internal and external audiences.
• Support go-to-market initiatives and business development efforts to continuously offer valuable client solutions.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Excellent academic background from a recognized university or university of applied sciences.
• Strong motivation to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment focused on the financial services sector.
• Experience in team-based projects, whether from university or internships.
• A curious mind, capable of systematically structuring and addressing problems.
• Strong presentation skills combined with a highly client-oriented approach.
• A collaborative team player eager to support solutions within diverse teams across functions and regions.
• Fluency in both English and German; proficiency in Swiss German or other languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial experience in consulting and/or the Financial Services sector (internships, working student, entry-level positions).
• Interest in target operating model (TOM) design and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge or interest in Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Awareness or interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
