Within the EY Business Consulting team, we provide a wide array of functional and cross-country services aimed at delivering trustworthy advice to our clients in the Financial Services industry. Our focus encompasses Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance sectors, all undergoing substantial transformation. Key Responsibilities

• Pursuing innovative, business-led, and tech-enabled transformation initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and achieve measurable, sustainable improvements in business performance.
• Applying storytelling techniques to present tailored recommendations to clients in a clear and analytical manner.
• Utilizing and enhancing global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, and enablers for a variety of transformation goals.
• Developing personal skills through hands-on client experiences and internal training opportunities.
• Facilitating thought leadership sessions and roundtables on pertinent topics.
• Supporting business development initiatives to provide ongoing value to clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong academic background from a reputable university or university of applied sciences.
• High motivation for working in a dynamic consulting environment and the financial services sector.
• Experience with team-based projects from university or internships.
• A curious mindset with the ability to structure problems systematically.
• Exceptional presentation skills and a client-oriented approach.
• Proven team player who actively contributes to solutions within motivated and diverse teams.
• Fluency in English and German is essential; knowledge of Swiss German and other languages is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial work experience in consulting or Financial Services, such as internships or entry-level roles.
• Interest or experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
