Your Role and Responsibilities
The EY Business Consulting team provides a wide array of functional and cross-country services focused on delivering trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance sectors. With the industry undergoing significant transformation, this is an ideal moment to become part of an evolving team, assisting our clients in navigating market shifts and customer demands.
- Pursuing innovative, business-led, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, business partners, and diverse teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and deliver sustainable improvements in business performance.
- Communicating recommendations to clients using strong storytelling and analytical skills.
- Utilizing and further developing EY’s global methodologies, frameworks, tools, and accelerators to achieve transformation goals.
- Enhancing your skills through hands-on client experience and internal training opportunities.
- Facilitating roundtables and thought leadership sessions, both internally and externally.
- Supporting business development initiatives to consistently provide valuable solutions for clients.

- Excellent academic background from a leading university.
- Strong drive to join a dynamic consulting environment in the financial services sector.
- Experience working on team projects, either academically or through internships.
- A curious mindset with the ability to systematically address and analyze problems.
- Exceptional presentation skills and a client-focused approach.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to support solutions in motivated and diverse teams across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in English and German is essential; Swiss German and additional languages are advantageous.
Additional Qualifications
- Initial experience in consulting or financial services, such as internships or entry-level roles.
- Interest or experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
- Interest or experience in Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Interest or experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics.
