The Opportunity
The Business Consulting team offers a broad range of functional and cross-country services dedicated to providing trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services industry. We focus on Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance sectors, navigating through tremendous change and new challenges. As part of our Transformation Execution Practice, you will support transformative initiatives and design, plan, and deliver solutions for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Pursuing business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas and deliver improvements in business performance.
- Applying storytelling skills and presenting recommendations in a clear, analytical manner.
- Leveraging EY methodologies and tools for transformation goals.
- Developing skills through on-the-job client experience and internal training opportunities.
- Facilitating topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
- Supporting go-to-market and business development initiatives to provide valuable solutions.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Excellent academic record from a leading university.
- Strong motivation to join a consulting environment in the financial services sector.
- Experience in team-based projects, either through university or internships.
- A curious mind able to structure problems systematically.
- Strong presentation skills and client-oriented attitude.
- Proactive team player willing to support diverse teams.
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory; Swiss German and other languages are a plus.
Ideal Additional Qualifications
- Initial work experience in consulting or Financial Services.
- Interest in target operating model design and process improvements.
- Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
