Project Overview

The ETH AI Center sits at the heart of Switzerland's expanding AI ecosystem. Our flagship event, the AI+X Summit, has become one of the country’s major gatherings for AI research, industry, and policy discourse. We also co-launched the Zurich AI Festival, adding a public dimension to our outreach. Furthermore, we play a pivotal role in AI House Davos, a high-level platform for global dialogue regarding trustworthy AI during the World Economic Forum.

Role Summary

We seek a specialist adept at managing the digital infrastructure vital for our events. You will spearhead the establishment and management of event websites and applications, along with overseeing registration systems and developing automation workflows that ensure seamless operations. Your contributions will enhance user experiences for participants and partners alike, allowing our flagship events to execute with precision and real impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the ETH AI Center’s digital event infrastructure.
• Set up and manage event webpages and applications.
• Oversee registration systems and devise automation workflows to refine operational processes.
• Collaborate with the Event Manager and Communications team to ensure public-facing content aligns with branding and functionality.

Who We Are Looking For

We are in search of a tech-savvy problem solver with a strong design sensibility. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A university degree with exposure to AI or international affairs.
• Professional fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Extensive experience building web applications, utilizing form builders, and leveraging automation tools such as AEM, Make.com, and Google Developer Console.
• Proficient JavaScript skills and experience in working with APIs for data integrations.
• Experience in database management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with analytics tools to track and report on key metrics.
• Hands-on experience with event website management and online registration frameworks.
• A solid understanding of user experience and digital design principles.
• The ability to collaborate across marketing, events, and communications teams to enhance strategic goals.
• Bonus skills: Knowledge of data privacy practices (GDPR compliance) and experience with CRM integrations.
