Role Overview

In our dynamic environment, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Transport Coordinator, working at 70% capacity from January to June 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and developing our new school transport management system (Vectare/SchoolsBuddy).
  • Serving as the primary communication point for parents, students, and staff.
  • Supervising the transport fleet to ensure compliance of all vehicles.
  • Monitoring adherence to relevant transport legislation.
  • Managing tachographs and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Collaborating closely with the Site Coordinator and administrative teams.
  • Coordinating daily schedules and routes with the driver team.
  • Providing support to drivers regarding operational issues and inquiries.

Candidate Profile

  • Holder of a D1 driving licence, up-to-date OACP, and driver qualification card (preferred).
  • Strong experience and knowledge of transportation regulations and practices.
  • Experience or interest in project coordination (an asset).
  • Proficient in both French and English.
  • Excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain composure and organization under pressure.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including split shifts.
  • Autonomous, well-organized, discreet, and reliable.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Capability to lead projects to completion.
  • Proficient in standard IT tools.
  • Valid work permit and clean criminal record extracts required.
