Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate excels in autonomy and precision within trade compliance. You possess a solid track record in Export Control, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Your background in foreign trade complements your proactive approach, seamlessly merging operational excellence with legal necessities.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Local Export Control Officer to guarantee export control compliance at the Rotkreuz site.
• IMCP Management: Take charge of the development, monitoring, and refinement of the Internal Management & Compliance Program.
• Product Classification: Support the classification of goods and perform sanctions list, embargo, and dual-use checks within SAP GTS.
• License Management: Manage the entire licensing process, including applications and administrative tasks with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
• Process Optimization & Training: Define, implement, and enhance foreign trade processes, while leading internal training sessions to promote a culture of compliance.
• Consulting & Projects: Serve as a subject matter expert for internal departments and advocate for export control interests in local and global projects.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Proactively track regulatory changes and ensure smooth implementation during operational audits and communications with authorities.

Essential Qualifications

• Completed commercial education with significant experience in Import, Export, or Trade.
• Background in an international industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss, European, and international export control regulations.
• Independent, analytical, results-driven work style coupled with effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in both German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Advanced user knowledge of SAP GTS and Microsoft Office.
• US Regulations: Familiarity with US Export Control regulations (EAR) is an advantage.
