Your Role

In this role, you will be part of the strategic supply chain organization, focusing on technical supply engineering for the service parts portfolio within the category of Components. You will report to the Global Category Manager Components, based in Baden, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively establish a robust value chain in cooperation with the service organization and Category Management, including the review of technical documents, alignment of quality requirements, and support for selected suppliers.
  • Manage short-term orders throughout the re-launch phase until parts are available for customer service.
  • Assist Category Management with relocation and supplier consolidation activities.
  • Support Category Management in the RFI/RFQ process.
  • Conduct master data analysis and maintenance.

Background

  • Completed vocational training as a production or design engineer; further education in Supply Chain Management or Logistics at the university of applied sciences level is an asset.
  • Exhibit flexibility and speed, strong customer focus, persistence, and effective communication skills, with a hands-on approach.
  • Possess a strong technical and/or production background.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
