Your Role
You will contribute your expertise and experience, aiding in the safe and reliable operation of our gas turbine products. Your primary focus will involve leading a dedicated engineering team in the development and execution of control systems for heavy-duty gas turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as line manager and technical lead for the GT control system engineering and execution team.
- Engineer and develop control system hardware for gas turbines.
- Specify GT monitoring systems and field instruments while designing instrumentation and control field loops.
- Integrate and document GT protection requirements and safety instrumented systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Configure and execute the GT control system scope within customer projects, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Interface and coordinate with project management to align on objectives.
- Provide support for erection and commissioning activities both in the office and on-site at customer locations.
- Define and optimize technical guidelines along with engineering and execution processes.
Candidate Profile
- Advanced degree in electrical or automation engineering, or equivalent.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in design and project execution of automation systems within power or process plant engineering.
- Familiarity with design directives, codes, and standards in automation, instrumentation, control, and functional safety.
- A strong commitment to delivering solutions and results aligned with quality, time, and cost targets.
- At least 2 years in a line management position showcasing proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous, and knowledge of Italian is a plus.
