Your Role and Responsibilities
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our gas turbine products. Your expertise will contribute to leading an engineering team focused on the development and execution of control systems for heavy-duty gas turbines.
- Act as line manager and technical lead of the control system engineering & execution team.
- Engineer and develop the GT control system hardware.
- Specify GT monitoring systems and field instruments while designing I&C field loops.
- Integrate and document GT protection requirements and safety instrumented systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Configure and execute the GT control system scope within GT customer projects adhering to contractual obligations.
- Interface and coordinate with project management.
- Support erection and commissioning activities from both back office and on-site at customer locations.
- Define and optimize technical guidelines and engineering & execution processes.
Your Profile
- Advanced degree in electrical or automation engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience in design and project execution of automation systems within power or process plant engineering.
- Familiarity with design directives and codes & standards related to automation, instrumentation, controls, and functional safety.
- Strong commitment to achieving solutions and results that meet quality, time, and cost targets.
- Over 2 years of experience in a line management role demonstrating proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Very good command of English; proficiency in German is advantageous, and knowledge of Italian is a plus.
