Teacher of Business

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our educational community, with a starting date in August 2026. The role involves a varied workload of 60% to 80%, with the opportunity to increase hours by offering additional subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct students in Business across all year groups from Grade 9 to Grade 12, including IB Business Management at Higher and Standard Levels.
• Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that foster inquiry-based learning and enhance business skills.
• The ability to teach IB Economics is a desirable addition to your expertise.
• Fulfill tutoring responsibilities, including pastoral care for students as needed.
• Actively participate in the school’s extra-curricular activities and programs.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and support cross-disciplinary learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Business, Economics, or a related area.
• A recognized teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse learners in an international environment.
• A commitment to student-centered learning and involvement in academic and co-curricular programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively within a collaborative, multicultural community.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to be involved in the vibrant life of a residential school.
• Swiss/EU/EFTA citizenship is considered an advantage.
