Our dedicated team within NPC R&D focuses on the development of both new and existing BGE products, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Systems Engineering & Requirements:
  • Manage requirements engineering and management processes.
  • Coordinate requirements change control.
  • Author critical development documents, including product requirements and risk analyses.
  • Engage in FMEA and risk assessment collaborations.
  • Support system testing throughout design verification and validation stages.
• Cross-Functional Integration & Collaboration:
  • Facilitate interface management and documentation.
  • Align with diverse teams across engineering, operations, customer support, and regulatory affairs.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of project tasks.
• Innovation: AI & Model-Based Systems Engineering:
  • Explore AI applications to enhance systems engineering processes.
  • Ensure alignment between component development and system integration through interface definitions.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will bring:

• A solid background in a regulated development environment, preferably within IVD(R) sectors.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems definition and requirements engineering.
• A strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies across multiple technology domains.
• Excellent communication skills, with a structured and clear working approach.
• A collaborative mindset and analytical thinking to navigate both the big picture and intricate details.

Additional Qualifications

While not mandatory, these attributes will enhance your application:

• Experience integrating artificial intelligence with systems engineering methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as INCOSE or IREB.
• Familiarity with SysML or tools like Enterprise Architect.
• A degree in Mechatronics, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in English (advanced level) and knowledge of German is a plus.
