Role Overview
You will work where complex systems, software, and customer requirements meet. In this capacity, you will bring systems into operation worldwide, analyze issues down to the root cause, and translate customer needs into robust, practical solutions. This role is tailored for engineers who take ownership, delve deeply into technical aspects, and wish to create visible impact.
Responsibilities
- Support installation teams and customers during system commissioning and handover.
- Analyze and resolve software and hardware issues, both internally and at customer sites.
- Specify customer-specific system and software requirements and collaborate closely with product management.
- Test and qualify system software along with new system components to ensure quality.
- Maintain technical system documentation and coordinate technical topics across service, engineering, and product management.
Qualifications
- Hold a technical education or degree (HF, FH, ETH, or equivalent) in system engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Possess experience in vacuum technology, semiconductor industry, or equipment engineering as an advantage.
- Demonstrate a hands-on mindset; work independently and solution-oriented, remaining focused even in complex situations.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly and confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and German, with a willingness to travel approximately 10% worldwide.
