Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve ensuring a safe and compliant workplace for all employees, adhering to Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of workmanship in line with applicable standards and regulations.
- Guarantee workplace compliance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules.
- Ensure quality of workmanship according to SRT and airworthiness regulations.
- Optimize staff allocation for high production quality at events.
- Instruct staff on quality deviations, conduct verbal reviews, address audit findings, and manage customer complaints.
- Assign employee roles while managing vacation planning in alignment with operational needs.
- Organize support across departments to enhance performance, tools, and documentation.
- Effectively manage human resources to ensure skill availability meets operational demands.
- Identify and focus on training and development needs within the team.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles.
- Enhance processes to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Foster a performance culture through target setting and regular follow-ups with employees.
- Implement performance management processes to motivate and guide staff effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will possess a combination of technical expertise and managerial experience, specifically within the aviation industry.
- Completed a 4-year technical apprenticeship.
- Technical education background.
- Operational and managerial experience in the aviation industry.
- Proven capability in managing manpower and resources effectively.
- Ability to communicate issues and propose solutions efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures at required levels.
- Excellent command of verbal and written English (C1 level).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Customer-focused approach, addressing both internal and external needs.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and manage effectively.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Willingness to work in two shifts as required.
