Project Background
Our current focus is the SWEET: RECIPE project, which investigates the resilience of the Swiss energy system through Supply Chain Mapping for critical components of the electricity grid. Given the interconnected risks posed by supply chain disruptions, our project aims to identify and analyze hidden dependencies that could affect grid reliability and energy security in Switzerland.
Your Contribution
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals keen on research, particularly those with a background in Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the AI-supported generation and validation of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Identifying and collecting relevant data sources (such as industry reports and technical descriptions).
- Extracting firm information from business databases.
- Producing descriptive statistics based on research findings.
Ideal Profile
- Proficiency in Python is essential.
- Availability for approximately 6 months.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Enrollment at a Swiss University with a willingness to work 1 to 2 days per week (approximately 15 hours).
- Flexibility regarding working hours to accommodate study commitments is appreciated.
