Your Role

As a key contributor to our procurement strategies, you will engage in locating, evaluating, contracting, and managing the finest sources of supply for operational materials and services. Your focus will encompass quality, value, performance, cost, and agility in responding to changing supply needs, including licensing and logistics services. You will be responsible for supplier and vendor selection and development, promoting sustainable improvements in procurement costs in alignment with growth objectives.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to minimize total ownership costs and enhance quality and delivery performance.
  • Analyze spend data and marketplace trends to inform strategic sourcing initiatives for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships within compliance frameworks.
  • Apply negotiation strategies to resolve disputes and uphold organizational interests.
  • Monitor market changes and their potential impacts on procurement decisions.
  • Conduct thorough bid analysis to determine the most advantageous options for the organization.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to implement strategic sourcing agreements effectively.
  • Track and assess supplier performance through regular reviews and feedback mechanisms.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, or economics.
  • Preferred education in Supply Chain/Purchasing.
  • Professional experience in a technical environment, ideally within the aviation sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in purchasing and supply chain management.
  • Experience in sourcing and contracting is essential.
  • Strong project management skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with database management and data analysis.
  • Language proficiency: German (Level B2), English (C1).
