Role Overview

Join a dynamic team as a key partner in shaping approaches to Market Access in Europe. In this influential role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure appropriate pricing and market access strategies that deliver value to patients, healthcare systems, society, and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on supporting mid-size and small European countries to ensure high-quality pricing and access launch strategies.
• Develop pricing and access strategies that incorporate evidence needs and value propositions beyond the product.
• Ensure timely delivery of pricing and reimbursement dossiers.
• Collaborate with local and European teams to identify evidence requirements for successful access and assist in creating program-specific Evidence Plans.
• Formulate a coordinated negotiation strategy with a clear approach.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to engage and educate them on access initiatives.
• Prepare and manage strategic plans and budgets while ensuring accurate forecasting.
• Monitor trends in Health Technology Assessment and government reimbursement initiatives throughout Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or PhD in science and/or economics preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Market Access within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization, particularly within rare diseases or CNS.
• Relevant education and applicable experience may be considered in lieu of traditional qualifications.

Key Skills

• Experience in early patient access programs and launching orphan drugs, preferably in the CNS space.
• Proven expertise in pricing negotiations across European markets.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
• Proficient in digital tools, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong formal presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally.
