Lead Front-End Solution Architecture for Government Platforms

Join a key partner organization on a six-month contract with long-term scope to drive front-end and UI solution delivery. This remote role, with occasional on-site presence in London, requires an immediate start and focuses on owning the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme. You will provide a unified, coherent design across multiple ARTs and delivery teams while defining and maintaining the solution vision, solution intent, architecture runway, and target/transition state architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme, ensuring a unified and coherent design across multiple ARTs and delivery teams.
• Define and maintain the solution vision, solution intent, architecture runway, and target/transition state architectures.
• Act as Solution Architect within a SAFe (or equivalent scaled agile) operating model, collaborating with Release Train Engineers, System Architects, Product Management, and Solution Management.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of IT Architecture experience.
• Strong front-end development and architecture experience, preferably using Scala.
• Experience designing for or developing government/public sector platforms.
• Experience specifically with Gov.UK is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.
