Your Role

As a key member of our R&D team in Zurich, you will contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art quantum control system for managing hundreds or thousands of qubits. If you are passionate about high-performance computing and quantum technology, this opportunity is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software components interfacing with real-time qubit control and measurement electronics, encompassing concept, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Implement high-throughput, low-latency data transmission for real-time qubit control and quantum error correction.
• Collaborate effectively with peers in R&D and product management on architecture, interfaces, and feature definition.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Debug complex problems across the entire stack and implement effective solutions.

Your Profile

• MSc in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant practical experience.
• Solid experience in writing production-grade software.
• Good knowledge of modern C++ and Python.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle.
• Team player with excellent communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, GPU programming, RDMA, Rust, or FPGA programming is a plus.
