Your Impact

As a key member of our team, you will engage in specifying, analyzing, implementing, and testing embedded software for our intelligent ventilators, after receiving an introduction to ventilation fundamentals. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, working closely with fellow software engineers and stakeholders from various departments, contributing to the creation of machines that save lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into clear, testable software requirements.
  • Design software modules with a focus on performance, safety, and maintainability.
  • Implement clean, efficient C++ code on our embedded platform.
  • Engage in architecture and code reviews, sharing knowledge to ensure a robust and consistent codebase.
  • Create unit, integration, and system tests.
  • Investigate incidents reported from the field.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in object-oriented software development using C++.
  • A big-picture mindset and the ability to think creatively.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring new subject areas.

Preferred Experience

  • Requirements engineering.
  • Software architecture and design.
  • Embedded systems development.
  • Safety-critical software development.
  • Experience with large-scale software systems.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems.
  • Unit testing.
  • Writing and executing tests at integration/system levels.
