Our diverse portfolio includes leading vaccines against smallpox, mpox, rabies, tick-borne encephalitis, typhoid fever, and cholera. We pride ourselves on our innovation in research and development, manufacturing, and commercialization, aiming to enhance global health and quality of life.
The Role
We are looking for an individual to serve as the business design authority for the Plan-to-Make global process within our ERP transformation initiative. This position centers on site-specific manufacturing and supply chain functions while ensuring alignment with global standards and enterprise templates. You will play a crucial role in clearly defining and standardizing operational processes across various sites, embedding these into the ERP template in accordance with shop-floor realities, planning needs, and regulatory requirements.
As we transition from a finance-focused system to a comprehensive ERP platform, you will take ownership of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain project charter, including stream planning, roadmap integration, and data readiness for ERP migration.
Collaboration will be key, as you will engage with Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership, local teams in planning, logistics and master data, Global Process Owners, Process Managers, and ERP partners to develop scalable and compliant operational solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-lead the definition of future-state manufacturing and supply chain processes, ensuring integration across all domains.
- Bridge shop-floor and regulatory requirements in ERP solution design, validating essential manufacturing workflows.
- Ensure cohesive alignment between manufacturing execution and supply chain planning, maintaining visibility across the entire process.
- Embed compliance and validation requirements within process design to meet industry standards.
- Govern manufacturing data and support readiness activities for site implementation.
- Facilitate change enablement through effective training and a robust Super User network.
What You Bring
To be successful, a robust track record of process design and standardization across multiple locations is essential. Your experience should reflect a capacity to connect business strategies with technology solutions. Key qualifications include:
- Strong communication skills, capable of linking strategic visions with operational execution.
- A minimum of 8 years in biopharma manufacturing, demonstrating extensive GxP knowledge.
- Fluency in both English and German, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Why This Role
This opportunity presents a chance to significantly influence the digital future of Bavarian Nordic during a transformative phase. You'll play a vital role in a global ERP rollout while navigating the intersection of business, IT, and advanced technologies like AI and analytics.
The role allows for cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders, leading strategic pilots and developing scalable solutions that cater to a highly regulated biopharma landscape. If you are passionate about driving meaningful change and influencing decision-making at the enterprise level, this position promises both significant impact and visibility.
