About the Role

We are in search of a qualified individual to become part of our Service and Support department. As a skilled technician, you will play a crucial role in the internal final acceptance, troubleshooting, provisioning, and commissioning of simulators at our esteemed clients' locations.

You will work independently, completing assignments within stipulated timeframes while ensuring the highest standards of quality. Team collaboration is fundamental to our ethos; thus, we seek a technician who continually enhances efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Your suggestions for improvement and openness to change will be highly valued.

A strong willingness to travel, coupled with excellent communication skills and a solid command of English, will complete your profile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality assurance and testing of pre-assembled simulators, performing corrective actions as needed until they are ready for dispatch.
  • Install and commission simulators at customer locations.
  • Carry out repair work, upgrades, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide feedback on recurring and new issues to engineering and collaborate on solutions.
  • Contribute to the optimization of lean production processes.
  • Work collaboratively with neighboring departments towards targeted goals.
  • Support production in assembling electromechanical components according to construction documents within deadlines and quality standards.
  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently and comply with all relevant standards, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship in a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • High level of flexibility and willingness to travel globally (up to 70%).
  • Efficiency-oriented character.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team player with an explorer mentality.
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluency in German and English.
