Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of laser texturing and cutting machines
• Implementation of retrofits, upgrades, and machine conversions
• Identification of optimization potential in collaboration with Development and 2nd Level Support
• Professional analysis, handling, and documentation of service cases
• Contributing to the creation, review, and enhancement of technical documentation and process descriptions
• Occasionally supporting trade fair setup and dismantling
• Complying with all relevant Advanced Manufacturing safety standards, including those related to particle emissions, laser radiation, contamination control, gas handling, and explosion prevention
• Assisting in additional functional roles based on expertise and business needs (e.g., internal trainer, quality initiatives, special technical projects — approximately 10% of working time)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Successfully completed technical vocational training, preferably with additional qualifications as a certified technician
• Demonstrated experience as a Service Technician in laser machines or similar high-tech equipment
• Strong customer service orientation with a structured and independent working style
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%, primarily within Europe and Switzerland)
• Proficient in MS Office and possess solid PC skills in both hardware and software environments
• Language proficiency: Mandatory English and fluent German or French
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Reliable and responsible team player with strong communication abilities
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work
