Your Mission
The role involves establishing new partnerships with leading companies across Europe while driving business growth. Responsibilities include:
- Go-To-Market & Pipeline Development: Lead initiatives to develop a strategic pipeline, prioritize promising accounts, connect with key stakeholders, and foster strong relationships.
- Market Presence & Outreach: Represent Climeworks at conferences, initiate communication campaigns, and utilize networks to create opportunities.
- Customer Solutions & Proposal Development: Analyze customer needs, create tailored carbon removal portfolios, and support business case development.
- Partnership Development: Enhance relationships with industry partners that contribute to commercial success.
- Negotiation Leadership: Oversee negotiation phases, coordinating input from various departments.
- Account Management & Delivery: Ensure customer success, manage the delivery of carbon removal credits, and provide relevant insights to customers.
Your Story
We seek individuals who are motivated to build a climate-relevant industry with significant potential and who are ready to grow a successful business in the carbon removal space. Ideal qualifications include:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Climate, Engineering, or related fields; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Professional Experience: 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or consultative B2B sales, with a preference for those experienced in start-up or scale-up environments.
- Leadership & Commercial Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, networking strength, analytical mindset, strategic drive, and project management proficiency.
- Language & Communication: Exceptional English skills (C2), with engaging communication abilities and confidence in public speaking.
