Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for accomplished researchers with extensive experience in computing architecture. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying technology trends in Edge AI, scalar/vector/tensor processing, and optimizing CPU/GPU/NPU/TPU microarchitectures.
  • Proposing novel technologies in computing architecture, memory/cache, interconnect, and SoC design to enhance Performance, Power efficiency, and Area efficiency (PPA), as well as system flexibility.
  • Developing innovative computing architectures to enhance the performance and efficiency of chip systems through software-hardware co-design and technical innovations.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships with industry and academia, collaborating with leading university professors specializing in computer architecture.

Key Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, wireless communication, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in chip-related fields.
  • Strong expertise in hardware & software co-design, microprocessor architecture for scalar/vector/tensor computing, job scheduling in heterogeneous parallel systems, memory optimization in many-core systems, and power optimization.
  • Experience in AI chip design and power & area efficiency optimization is preferred.
  • Understanding of hardware-software interfaces and interactions, along with experience in compiler technology, is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging across organizations and at the executive level.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
  • Strong writing skills for clear and concise documentation.
