About Our Actuarial Team
Our Actuarial team provides comprehensive support across various sectors, including life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We engage in collaborative efforts with teams in Audit & Assurance as well as other service lines, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, or Technology & Transformation, to tackle large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one, taking on daily responsibilities to deliver dependable solutions. Your contributions will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for pension topics within Deloitte Switzerland.
- Leading a range of client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
- Managing project lifecycles, from proposals and contracting through to delivery and invoicing.
- Identifying business opportunities and generating new business with both internal and external clients.
- Participating in and leading thought leadership initiatives.
- Overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, training, performance reviews, and promotions.
Your Profile
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field from ETH or another university.
- Qualification as an actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
- Experience in an actuarial role within the insurance industry or consulting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, coupled with a willingness to learn and make a difference.
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder levels.
- Proven experience in business development.
