Location and Work Pattern

Based in Zurich, we offer flexibility with working patterns ranging from 80% to 100%.

Your Role

Join us in assisting our clients to effectively manage global challenges. Our Actuarial team delivers comprehensive support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. Collaborating regularly with Audit & Assurance and other service lines, you will engage in large-scale projects as part of a seasoned project team, assuming leadership responsibilities over projects or workstreams while ensuring reliable solutions are delivered.

Your Impact

• Develop and mentor the actuarial team focusing on life insurance.
• Lead business development initiatives for life and health insurance within the actuarial team.
• Deliver projects collaboratively with fellow actuaries and multidisciplinary teams, taking charge of workstreams or projects.

Expectations

• Directly oversee multiple client projects, including actuarial transformations, M&A transactions, audits, and valuations.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of projects from proposals through to invoicing.
• Engage in business development by identifying new opportunities and generating business with both internal and external clients.
• Participate in and contribute to thought leadership in the industry.
• Contribute to all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, training, performance evaluations, and promotions.

Qualifications

• A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• Experience in an actuarial capacity, preferably within Consulting in the Swiss market.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a genuine desire to learn and make an impact.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English; proficiency in German/Swiss German is essential.
• Demonstrated business development experience.
• Familiarity with technology, including actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
