Mission

As a pivotal contributor, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex IT programmes and projects across the organization. You will oversee the full project lifecycle—from initiation to closure—ensuring alignment with business strategy, organizational commitments, and operational objectives. In this capacity, you will drive the successful implementation of solutions while coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders throughout the organization.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead large and/or multiple projects simultaneously, adapting plans to prioritize initiatives and ensuring appropriate resources and governance structures are in place.
  • Gather and clarify requirements for complex, multi-dimensional projects, working closely with Business Sponsors to align on objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, balancing expectations and facilitating effective decision-making.
  • Provide leadership to project teams by guiding, motivating, and coordinating internal and external contributors, including cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities, adjusting project plans when necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the IT department.
  • Provide expertise, mentoring, and coaching to other project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with IT project management standards, including proper documentation and governance processes.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with the enterprise architecture framework.
  • Define and monitor project budgets throughout all phases, ensuring alignment with the overall IT budget.
  • Identify project risks and potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage escalation when required.
  • Ensure proper project closure, including transition to operational support where applicable.
