    • Develop and implement hedging and arbitrage strategies aligned with firm risk parameters.
    • Provide internal advisory on cross-border transaction structuring.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure adherence to FINMA-adjacent compliance requirements.

    • Actively identify, approach, and onboard new clients, with a focus on institutional and professional counterparties.
    • Leverage an established international network to generate qualified leads and revenue opportunities.
    • Represent the firm at international financial conferences and industry events as a senior ambassador.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with European and international clients.
    • Develop targeted market entry strategies for new client segments or geographies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention.
  • Compliance & Regulatory
    • Support ongoing SRO compliance monitoring and reporting.
    • Stay current with evolving Swiss and EU financial regulations.
    • Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.

Requirements

Essential

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, International Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial markets, commodity trading, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development — demonstrated ability to bring in and retain clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Swiss or EU financial regulatory frameworks, including SRO structures.
  • Hands-on experience with commodity futures, forex, and derivatives trading.
  • Strong and active international client network, particularly within European financial markets.
  • Fluent in English and preferably German — additional European languages a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Comfortable representing the company externally at a senior level.

Preferred

  • Experience working across multiple EU jurisdictions.
  • Background in self-employed or principal trading capacity.
  • Familiarity with Eastern European markets and counterparties.
  • Active participation in international industry conferences.
  • Existing relationships with commodity trading houses, brokers, or financial institutions.
