RA Scale AG is a cutting-edge company born from ETH Zurich, specializing in an AI-powered SaaS platform that revolutionizes the automation of tenders and supplier selection within the construction industry. With a dynamic team of around 20 individuals, we are currently expanding our footprint into Germany and Austria.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and further develop our cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS and GCP for our SaaS platform.
• Plan and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab CI, TeamCity, or ArgoCD.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and data scientists to optimize performance.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of productive systems.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions while working closely with our CTO.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering, ideally with AWS or GCP.
• Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience in building and operating microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), event-driven architectures, and monitoring tools.
• Programming knowledge in Python, Bash, or Node.js is a plus.
• Experience in leading or coordinating small engineering teams is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security and cloud governance.
• Fluent English is required; knowledge of German is a bonus.
